Summary

The MMA program aims to enhance a student’s technical, physical, and mental ability in self-defense situations and/or combat sports competition. The program is structured under the Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW) curriculum founded by 2-time World Light Heavyweight Shooto (MMA) Champion, Erik Paulson. The training focuses on three main areas: striking, clinching, and grappling. Each area is broken down into the following elements:

Striking - Muay Thai (kickboxing), Shooto, Western Boxing, Jun Fan/JKD

Clinching - Muay Thai, Vale Tudo, Greco Roman Wrestling

Grappling - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Shooto, Catch-as-can wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco Roman Wrestling, Judo, Sambo

With the blend of these systems, CSW provides the martial athlete with an avenue to enter into a variety of competitive arenas such as, submission grappling, Thai Boxing, and mixed martial arts.

Class Schedule

Level I - MMA Tuesday and Thursday (6:00 - 7:30pm)
