Titan Fitness & Martial Arts is proud to be hosting an Erik Paulson MMA seminar November 13 & 14, 2010. This seminar marks the fourth year in a row that this living legend and mixed martial arts pioneer has come to State College. Erik Paulson was a two-time light heavyweight shootwrestling champion. Following his fighting career, Mr. Paulson founded the fighting system Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW), one of the few complete mixed martial arts systems in the world today. It combines all elements of MMA to include boxing, Thai boxing, clinching, takedowns, and submissions. Mr. Paulson has had a tremendous influence on the present day mixed martial arts community training such notable fighters as Sean Sherk, Josh Barnett, James Wilks, and present UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar.
Titan Fitness & Martial Arts is proud to be the only facility in Central Pennsylvania certified to teach Mr. Paulson’s comprehensive mixed martial arts fighting system. If you are interested in mixed martial arts, we encourage you to attend this amazing seminar. The event will be held at our new, state of the art MMA facility at 127 Sowers Street in State College, PA.

The Daily Collegian, Penn State University’s student newspaper, did a story on the merger between Lionheart and Titan Fitness & Martial Arts. It also got into the future of how the “conglomerate” is going to expand to become four clubs with the most notable and immediate being the Downtown Athletic Club, formerly the site of Titan Fitness & Martial Arts.
