Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Comes to Titan
Posted on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Gym News

Titan Fitness & Martial Arts is proud to announce the addition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.   BJJ classes will officially start Tuesday, March 16 and meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 pm to 9 pm and on Fridays from 5 pm to 6 pm.   Gi and no Gi classes will be taught.  We are excited to offer this new addition to our MMA programs.

The BJJ classes will be taught by Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt, Bill Algeo.  Bill started martial arts at 14 years of age.  Bill wrestled throughout high school and eventually received an All-State title.  Bill continued to coach wrestling and in 2007 found BJJ.  He soon after received his blue belt from Phil Migliarese and in 2009 he earned his purple belt.  He haswon many advanced divisions from NAGA, Grapplers Quest, US Grappling and various smaller tournaments.  Bill has trained with some of the best MMA fighters Philadelphia has to offer and has taught BJJ for the last year and a half at MMA/BJJ schools.  We are honored to welcome Mr. Algeo to our staff.
